Parents in Partnership
For the best results your support is needed. Just as you have expectations of Clandeboye Primary School and its staff, we too have high expectations of you, our parents. As our basic aims our identical, to ensure that your child develops as a whole personality in a happy, confident and successful manner, we expect to work in a partnership with you to provide an all-round education for your child.
Such a partnership will require you as parents to:
- support the school's aims and objectives
- encourage self-discipline in your child by reinforcing the school's code of conduct
- ensure that your child attends school regularly
- inform us as soon as possible of anything that happens at home which might cause changes in behaviour/attitudes of your child e.g. illness in the family, hospitalisation, sibling rivalry etc.
- support extra-curricular activities such as Curriculum Evenings, school productions, PTA events
- provide a suitable environment for homework to be satisfactorily completed and handed in on time.
